In addition to teaching and research, another large part of my work and experience is in the project management space; directing projects, developing assessment activities, leading research agendas, and collaborating with multi-institutional, international partners.

Or distilled into easy-to-read points, I have expertise in:

Research coordination & development
Program advacement
Budget management
Assessment

Below are a few highlights!

I serve as co-director of the DHAC grant managing a $150,000 budget, leading faculty training and professional development activities, creating programming, assessing activities, managing technology purchasing, and preparing budgetary and narrative reports for the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), our funder.

Principle Investigator (PI), Mormon Mommy Blogging Media Landscapes

I am the PI of a $9,000 (CAD) research project involving the use of web archived data, setting a research agenda, leading team-members, managing budgets, and disseminating research findings in scholarly and public mediums. This project is funded via the Archives Unleashed Project and the Andrew Mellon Foundation.

Mentor, Digital Ethnic Futures Consortium (DEFCon)

In my role, I serve as a mentor to faculty at a range of institution including University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez, Bellevue College, and Texas A&M University – Kingsville.
